How can you experience peace and joy in a world that is unstable?
How can you live a life free from disappointment, despair, dismay and depression?
Above all, when you die what is your fate and where will you go?

The bible says in Heb 9:27  And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.

After the judgement you will either spend eternity with Christ having everlasting life, or go to a place called hell where there is everlasting torment.

Joh 3:16  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Joh 3:17  For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

Joh 3:18  He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Mat 25:41  Then He also shall say to those on the left hand, Depart from Me, you cursed, into everlasting fire prepared for the Devil and his angels.

The Answer!

You must be born again. Jesus said in John 3: 3, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God.”

Someone may say, how can I be born again?  A religious leader was dumbfounded by this statement because he thought he had to go into his mothers womb again.

Joh 3:4  Nicodemus said unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?

Jesus said, “That which is born of the flesh (through a human body) is flesh. That which is born of the Spirit (God’s spirit) is spirit.   John 3: 6

Jesus was speaking of spiritual birth. Every human born in this earth was born in sin and shaped in iniquity. That means that the flesh from whom you were born; your mother and father had sin, which means you were born in sin.

Jesus committed no sin therefore, he was the only one who was able to redeem us from sin. His blood was not tainted with sin!

Heb 9:28  So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

1 Pet 2:21  For you were not called to this? For Christ also suffered on our behalf, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps,
1 Pet 2:22  He who did no sin, nor was guile found in His mouth.

God’s Purpose: Peace and Life

God loves you and wants you to experience peace and life–abundant and eternal.

The Bible says…

“We have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.” Romans 5:1

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16

“I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” John 10:10

Why don’t most people have this peace and abundant life that God planned for us to have?

The Problem: Our Separation

God created us in His own image to have an abundant life. God gave us a will and a freedom of choice to obey him.

Man chose to disobey God and do this his own will. We still make this choice today. Gen 2: 15-17 and Gen 3: 9-11. This results in separation from God.  Gen 3: 14-15

The Bible says…

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23

“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23

Our Attempts to Reach God

People have tried in many ways to bridge this gap between themselves and God by good works, good deeds, religion, man made doctrines to no avail.

The Bible says…

“There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death.” Proverbs 14:12

“But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear.” Isaiah 59:2

No bridge reaches God…except one.

God’s Bridge: The Cross

Jesus Christ died on the Cross and rose from the grave. He paid the penalty for our sin and bridged the gap between God and people.

The Bible says…

“For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Jesus Christ.” 1 Timothy 2:5

“For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God.” 1 Peter 3:18

“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8

God has provided the only way. Each person must make a choice.

Our Response: Receive Jesus Christ

We must receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

The Bible says…

“Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me.” Revelation 3:20

“Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.” John 1:12

“That if you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” Romans 10:9

Where are you?

Will you receive Jesus Christ right now? If you were to die tomorrow, do you know without a shadow of a doubt you would go to heaven and be with Jesus Christ eternally?

Here is how you can receive Christ and be assured of your eternity:

  1. Admit your need (I am a sinner).
  2. Be willing to turn from your sins (repent of your sins).
  3. Believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ  is Lord, that he died for you on the cross, was buried and rose from the grave! (Receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior)
  4. Be baptized in the Name of Jesus for the remission of your sins and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

How to Pray:

Heavenly Father, I come to you in the Name of Jesus,

I am a sinner and I repent of my sins. I believe in my heart and confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord. I believe that you died on the cross for my sins. You were buried and resurrected on the third day. Come into my heart and life. Purge me and fill me with your precious Holy Spirit. Today I believe, trust and follow Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior.

In Jesus’ name. Amen.

God’s Assurance is His Word!

Num 23: 19 says ” God is not a man that he should lie.”

If you prayed this prayer,

The Bible says…

“Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” Romans 10:13

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith–and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God–not by works, so that no one can boast.” Ephesians 2:8,9

Receiving Jesus Christ, as Lord and Savior we are born into God’s family through the supernatural work of the Holy Spirit who indwells every believer. This is called regeneration, or the “new birth.” You should then be Baptized. (John 3: 5, Acts 2: 38)

This is just the beginning of a wonderful new life in Jesus Christ. To deepen this relationship you should:

  1. Read your Bible everyday to know Christ better.
  2. Communicate and talk to God in prayer every day.
  3. Tell others about Christ.
  4. Worship, fellowship, and serve with other born again Spirit filled Christians in a church where Christ,  and the true Gospel is preached.
  5. As Christ’s representative in a needy world, demonstrate your new life by your love and concern for others. The Bible says, “Let your light so shine, that others may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. Matt 5: 16.
